Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan, born 10 May 1980 in Australia, is an actor and model. The actress gained fame in Australia through her character Pepper Steiger which she played in the soap series Neighbors in a series of ten episodes that aired between 2006 and 2007. Her debut project in Hollywood was the choral comedy Hollywood & Wine the show in which she played a young actress, who was new to Hollywood. Her next project was in Scrubs as Maya the sexy beautiful medical student in Scrubs' ninth season. The show, however, is abruptly canceled. The actress then continues with the filming of a comedy by The Farrelly brothers Good to shoot starring Jason Sudeikis' partner Owen Wilson then appearances in film shorts for series as well as B-series films. As of 2013, the actress had the opportunity to take on more challenging projects. In 2013, she appeared in six episodes of the crime drama Franklin and Bash, and then got her first role as a regular in the web-based series Chosen which starred Milo Ventimiglia. A 13-episode series is all the Robert Rodriguez has planned for his suspense thriller that has actors playing CIA agents.
