April Ross

April Ross, a beach volleyball star American she is part of the elite set of women who've won medals in many Olympics. The American will play in Tokyo for her 3rd Olympic medal with Alix Klineman. She is a one time Olympian. Ross would like to do more than her initial Olympic medal. With her age of 39, it may be her last chances to secure an Olympic gold. Her confidence is high, however. Ross said on NBC Boston that he believes that if the team plays their most effective, and even play a good game, then they will be able to win gold. Then I will also take the chance to have luck. Ross had her birth on the 22, 1982, located in Costa Mesa California. She was raised there by her parents. At Newport Harbor High School, she was a participant in many athletics. She competed in basketball and tracks in addition to her indoor volleyball exploits in her time as a college athlete. As a finalist in her sport she stood out. According to her bio, she was a middle blocker, as well as an outside hitter on the volleyball court during her time in high school. Her efforts were recognized by her being named the 1999 Gatorade's Circle of Champions' National Players of the Year. In 2000, she won an Orange County Athlete of the year award for volleyball. Ross and Klineman began their collaboration in the year 2017, however, Ross was a renowned athlete on the beach for a long time before. It's true that she has been an active player on the beach for a long time. Indeed, Ross has won numerous tournaments, one of which was one that was won by a famous volleyball player. From 2007 to 2013, she was partnered with Jennifer Kessy, who is her current coach. Kessy as well as Ross proved to be strong on the world circuit, winning an overall world title in 2009. The two eventually clinched a silver medal at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Misty Maytreanor's legendary team as well as Kerri Jennings took home the gold. In the end, fate had it that way. Ross turned out to be Walsh Jennings' new partner as May-Treanor stepped down. The pair went on to win the bronze medal in beach volleyball in the Rio Olympics in 2016. Ross was a student athlete with the Trojans of USC prior to starting her professional career. She starred at high school and before hitting the beach as a professional. The time she spent at USC was awe-inspiring. She was an All-American and Pac-10 freshman of the year in the year 2000. Her Trojans were also able to make it to the Final Four. The second season of her career, she was devastated by a personal loss but still successful in being named an All-American. The last two years at the school, she helped lead the Trojans up the mountain by winning two consecutive national championships. In her own way, she had established her place as a legend having won an award in the year 2003-04. Honda Sports Award as the highest ranked female volleyball player. Ross was a major in international relations at USC. Margie Ross, Ross' mother, didn't get the opportunity to witness her daughter become an international beach volleyball star. Ross's mother died in 2001, when Ross was still a USC sophomore. The cancer was diagnosed as breast. She still cherishes her late parent. And Margie is an ongoing source of inspiration to her on the shore and in her daily her everyday life.
