Kenney is the daughter of a New York City resident born in the year 1999. Kevin Kenney (a sports writer previously from the New York Post) and Gillian Kenney (a criminal defence lawyer) is her mother. Emma Kenney was born in the same city as Emmy Rossum. Kenney was raised in Manhattan. She plays Debbie the shrewd daughter in Shameless, a new Showtime TV show. She actually lived her early years in the Garden State.
