Anna Silk is a Fredericton native, the daughter Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had many skills, such as being able perform, direct, produce, write plays as well as teach and serve as director of drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was the child of both a British father as well as an British-born Turkish Cypriot mother. Anna appeared in numerous commercials in her youth. Then, in November 1999 Anna relocated to Toronto to advance her acting career, eventually moving to Los Angeles, California, during the decade that followed. She met Seth Cooperman in 2007 at an actors' workshop in Los Angeles, and they were engaged in 2009. Anna was a convert to Judaism in the year before and Seth Cooperman got married in December of 2010 in Fredericton. In April 2011, they renew their vows in the traditional Jewish ceremony. Bo's relationship with a sex partner, with Lauren (played Zoie Palermo), was listed in CNN as one of the most popular TV Couples. E! named the couple "the most popular television Couple" of 2013. Entertainment Television. Anna's social media following grew after the success of her show.
