StephanieStephanie Sigman is a Mexican-American actress. Her debut role was in Miss Bala, a Mexican crime drama film. She went on to appear in Pioneer (2013), Spectre (2015), Going Under (2016) and Annabelle: Creation (2017). In the television world, Sigman starred in Narcos (2015) and S.W.A.T (2017) for the first and second seasons of both shows. Sigman was born in Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, Mexico, to her Mexican mother and an American father, Lee Sigman, a New York Yankees scout from Kansas. Sigman is an U.S. citizen through her father. The brother of her was a professional baseball player Kenneth Ray Sigman, was earlier married to actress Barbara Mori Sigman began her career in the field of Mexican television before making her debut on film in Rio de Oro. She was the lead character of Laura Guerrero (Miss Bala) in the film, which is a Mexican crime drama. [6] The film was nominated for the Mexican entry in the Best Foreign Language Film category at the 84th Academy Awards.[7][8The film, however, was not on the final list. For her performance in the film Sigman was nominated in 2011 for the Dublin Film Critics Circle Award.
