Laura Vandervoort
Her first appearance as actor in 1997 at the age 13 years old. When she was 13, after attending several classes as well as doing background work in Canadian series like Road to Avonlea and Harriet the Spy In 1997, she landed her first role as a speaker in the Canadian children's horror series Goosebumps and Are You Afraid of The Dark?, both series were shown in 1997 on YTV. In addition to commercials as and guest appearances in films like Mutant X and Prom Queen: The Marc Hall Story. Goosebumps was also part of her career. Two years later, Vandervoort played her debut feature film called The Lookout alongside Jeff Daniels, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Matthew Goode along with Isla Fisher. Vandervoort was cast in Smallville the serial drama which airs on The CW. Her role as Clark Kent's Kryptonian "Kara Kent" she is the girl who is to be Supergirl. It was her first regular for season seven as well as on"Bloodline," the "Bloodline" episode in season eight. She was back on Smallville for two more episodes of the season's final, which was also her 10th season. Vandervoort directed the sequel in the series Into the Blue, titled Into the Blue 2 - The Reef. The Jazzman was her next independent film. The film also starred Canadian actors Michael Ironside and Corey Sevier.
